This position is intended to be performed remotely from outside the United States. The final employment or contractor structure will depend on the selected candidate’s jurisdiction, applicable local law, company requirements, and the final written agreement.
The Role
The Senior Full-Stack / Platform Engineer will work directly under ALYSSIUN’s Chief Technology Officer and will be responsible for building reliable software systems for both ALYSSIUN products and enterprise client projects.
This is a hands-on engineering role.
The engineer will receive clearly defined technical responsibilities, repositories, environments, APIs, and access permissions based on the project.
The role does not automatically provide unrestricted access to ALYSSIUN’s complete proprietary ecosystem.
This position is intended to be performed remotely from outside the United States.
Responsibilities
- Build modern web applications and enterprise software.
- Build secure backend services and APIs.
- Design and maintain relational databases.
- Build administrative dashboards and operational interfaces.
- Integrate third-party and client systems.
- Implement authentication, authorization, permissions, and account systems.
- Build real-time functionality using WebSockets or comparable technologies.
- Work with file storage, cloud infrastructure, queues, jobs, and background services.
- Optimize performance and reliability.
- Write automated tests.
- Debug production problems.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Document systems and APIs.
- Follow architecture and security requirements established by the CTO.
- Collaborate with AI, simulation, infrastructure, and other engineers.
- Deliver client work against defined milestones and acceptance criteria.

Python experience is strongly valued. C++, C#, Go, Rust, Java, or additional backend experience is valuable but not mandatory.

Compensation
Base Compensation
$30,000–$48,000 USD annuallyFinal compensation will depend on demonstrated expertise, experience, responsibilities, location, and the final employment arrangement.
Compensation is stated in U.S. dollars for comparison purposes. Payroll currency, taxes, statutory benefits, employment structure, and other local requirements may vary according to the selected candidate’s jurisdiction and final written agreement.
The final working relationship, compensation structure, payroll method, statutory benefits, tax treatment, and local employment requirements will be determined according to applicable law and the final written agreement.

ALYSSIUN operates systems containing proprietary technology, confidential business information, client information, infrastructure, and intellectual property.
Access to repositories, infrastructure, production systems, data, credentials, documentation, and proprietary technology is granted according to role and project requirements under the supervision of the Chief Technology Officer. Employees and contractors may receive access only to the repositories, systems, environments, data, and documentation necessary for their assigned responsibilities.
Company access controls are maintained so that no individual, including the Chief Technology Officer, holds uncontrolled or exclusive access to critical company systems.
Selected candidates will be required to execute appropriate confidentiality, intellectual-property, information-security, access-control, and employment or contractor agreements before receiving protected company access.
