This is not a remote-only executive position. The CTO must live in the New York City or Miami area, work closely with the Founder in person, and be prepared for frequent domestic and international travel.

01 — The Opportunity

A Rare Technical Leadership Opportunity

ALYSSIUN is building an interconnected technology ecosystem spanning spatial computing, intelligent software, digital infrastructure, real-time 3D, artificial intelligence, digital twins, simulations, automation, robotics, enterprise systems, and immersive experiences.

The CTO will be the company’s principal technical executive and the Founder’s closest technical partner. This person will help transform ambitious ideas into secure, scalable, commercially viable technology.

This is not a position for an executive who only manages meetings, budgets, and reports. The successful candidate must remain deeply involved in architecture, code, technical review, security, infrastructure, product development, hiring, and problem-solving.

The CTO will understand the complete ALYSSIUN ecosystem, protect its proprietary technology, manage internal and international technical teams, and represent the company in important client, partner, investor, vendor, and industry conversations.

02 — The Mission

The CTO’s Mission

  • Establish and execute the long-term technical strategy for ALYSSIUN.
  • Work directly with the Founder to turn company vision into practical technical roadmaps.
  • Protect the architecture, source code, infrastructure, data, intellectual property, trade secrets, and technical independence of the company.
  • Build engineering systems capable of supporting consumer products and high-value enterprise projects.
  • Lead the development of artificial intelligence, digital twins, simulations, spatial applications, robotics integrations, and intelligent operational systems.
  • Ensure that every technical commitment made to a client is realistic, secure, properly estimated, and deliverable.
  • Build and lead a disciplined global technical organization without exposing unnecessary proprietary information.
  • Maintain final technical responsibility for architecture, security, quality, deployment, reliability, and disaster recovery.
03 — Daily Partnership

Working Directly With the Founder

The CTO will work with the Founder on a daily basis and will participate directly in major company, product, engineering, hiring, client, and strategic decisions.

  • Review product ideas, technical priorities, risks, budgets, and timelines.
  • Translate vision and business objectives into engineering plans.
  • Provide direct, honest technical advice, including when an idea is unsafe, premature, too expensive, or technically unrealistic.
  • Work alongside the Founder on critical code, architecture, testing, deployments, demonstrations, and technical decisions.
  • Travel with the Founder for client visits, technology conferences, project evaluations, vendor meetings, demonstrations, and international business development.
  • Be able to work productively from company offices, client locations, conferences, hotels, airports, and temporary project environments.
  • Prepare the company technically before important meetings and follow through after each engagement.

Group 06

Security and Intellectual Property

  • Control technical access to ALYSSIUN repositories, infrastructure, production systems, databases, secrets, accounts, backups, and internal documentation.
  • Define exactly what each employee, contractor, and international developer may access.
  • Divide work into isolated repositories, modules, services, interfaces, and development environments when appropriate.
  • Prevent proprietary source code, production data, credentials, or trade secrets from being copied into personal repositories, unauthorized devices, external tools, or unapproved AI systems.
  • Maintain audit logs, protected branches, least-privilege permissions, secret rotation, incident procedures, backups, and disaster-recovery plans.
  • Ensure that no employee or contractor becomes the sole holder of critical company knowledge or access.
Group 07

Technical Leadership and Hiring

  • Recruit, interview, evaluate, hire, manage, and develop technical employees and contractors.
  • Lead U.S.-based and international engineering teams.
  • Assign work according to skill, confidentiality, cost, risk, and project requirements.
  • Create precise scopes, acceptance criteria, milestones, and quality requirements.
  • Review performance and address weak execution quickly.
  • Build a culture of discipline, documentation, ownership, security, and direct communication.
  • Report technical progress, costs, risks, staffing needs, and failures clearly to the Founder.
Group 08

Enterprise Clients and Global Projects

  • Attend important client meetings, assessments, site visits, and executive presentations.
  • Understand client operations, infrastructure, software, hardware, constraints, and security requirements.
  • Ask the technical questions necessary to uncover hidden risks and dependencies.
  • Design proposed solutions and prepare defensible estimates for staffing, cost, timeline, infrastructure, and risk.
  • Explain complex technical systems clearly to executives and nontechnical decision-makers.
  • Help determine which opportunities ALYSSIUN should accept, reject, postpone, or restructure.
  • Support project delivery from initial assessment through implementation, deployment, support, and expansion.
